Google Postmaster Tools, first launched in 2015, is a free service designed to help high-volume senders monitor and improve their email deliverability to Google users. It offers insights into spam rates, domain reputation, authentication status, and more.
In 2024, Google rolled out Version 2 of the tool. Alongside a visual refresh, the update introduced a key new feature: the Compliance Status dashboard.
Compliance Status dashboard

This update coincided with Google and Yahoo’s introduction of stricter bulk sender requirements. These changes make it more important than ever to stay on top of your domain’s reputation and compliance.
The new dashboard gives you a quick, color-coded overview of how Gmail perceives mail from your domain. You’ll see whether your sending practices are marked as “Compliant” or perhaps flagged as “Needs work”.
How do I access the V2 Postmaster Tools?
To check out the updated dashboard: Visit postmaster.google.com, and look for the (unnecessarily small) "dashboard" link to the new version in the header, or go directly to postmaster.google.com/v2/sender_compliance.
